This is maybe the most boring and scary part of the project: looking for an empty plot of land. There is nothing glamorous or exciting about this stage, but it has to be done. The approval process with most banks are rather quick and can depend on the type on financing you are applying for. Luckily, we at J.A. Planning and Designing
This is the fun part! With your finances in order and location picked, you can start designing your dream home. Based on input from J.A. Myers, you can start with a plan in your budget and modify it to help fit your vision and your lot’s conditions. You can then continue reworking and revising the plans until they sync up with your budget, as well as your wants and needs. You’re entirely in control of this step and the time that it takes. If you are prepared and make a fast decision, most people finish this step in two or so months. This step could also take as little as a week. J.A. Myers has custom flooring and design plans that you can choose from to help save you time on this step, too.
