New Home Sales Agent
We are looking for a driven and experienced New Home Sales Agent to join our growing team. The right candidate will have an outgoing, friendly and people-first attitude that will best reflect our company values.
As the New Home Sales Agent representing J.A. Myers Homes, you will be managing the day to day operations of your assigned Sales Center, located within one of our New Home Communities. Primary responsibilities include greeting clients, establishing relationships, and supplying customers with information needed to properly execute a sale. Additionally, you will work to generate leads through direct marketing, social media and other advertising techniques.
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, including product, site, local community, sales, advertising and demographics.
- Monitor and update property listings.
- Accompany visitors through models and spec homes answering questions and providing information about the community as well as discussing features and details regarding the home.
- Walk clients through the buying process, highlighting important details to ensure they know exactly what to expect.
- Monitor and record daily customer traffic utilizing company designated tools.
- Gather data and prepare reports for management review on a weekly basis.
- Maintain the condition of the Sales Center, models and spec homes, communicating with field and office staff of any maintenance needs.
- Provide timely and consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact; the purchase and financing process, stages of construction, and all closing and post closing activities. Maintain accurate records of all communications during this process.
Prerequisites for Success:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- Appropriate license/certifications as required by the state (PA Builder/Realtor License).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Member of RAYAC or other Realtor Association or willing to join as necessary to have access to MLS systems.
- Willingness and ability to work both evening and weekend hours.
- Proficiency in computer and smartphone technology.
- Familiarity with or aptitude to learn Customer Relationship Management Software.
- Excellent written and oral communication as well as the ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner with your sales team, management, office staff, field-team, clients and third-party contacts.
- Well-organized and flexible, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: active listening, approachability and customer focus.
*The salary includes commission, bonus, and benefits, with potential earnings of up to $100,000 per year!

Site Superintendent
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Site Superintendents to provide onsite coordination for all phases of Single-Family, Multi-Family and Custom Homes construction projects. Our Superintendents get their hands dirty, are willing to put their tool-belts on, as needed to get the job done right and on time. The Site Superintendent is responsible for supervising all on-site construction activities. This includes scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day issues on the job site, and overseeing all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow, implement and enforce safety requirements.
- Serve as overall on-site supervisor throughout all aspects of construction.
- Read and interpret job specs and plans to ensure quality project completion, on time and within budget.
- Review and coordinate project plans and specifications at the job site.
- Schedule and monitor subcontractor completion of all punch list work.
- Ensure all construction is performed in accordance with quality standards, contract requirements, and schedule.
- Supervise permits, including scheduling inspections and meeting with inspectors on-site.
- Maintain schedules for various projects within a community using our job scheduling software, BuildPro.
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved throughout the project, including Estimating & Purchasing, Project Managers, Sales Agents and Homebuyers.
- Work with field crews to complete construction.
- Abide by company policies and standards.
Prerequisites for Success:
- 1-2 years experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Equipment Operators
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our new home residential building company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience operating heavy equipment, including a 953 track loader, various Case backhoes, skid steers, and mini excavators. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including 953 track loader, Case backhoes, skid steers, and mini excavators.
- Perform excavation, grading, and site preparation for new residential construction projects including foundation and footing excavation, trench excavation for utilities, backfilling foundations and trenches, excavating storm water infiltration beds and trenches, grading for proper positive drainage around foundations to meet grading design and prep for lawn making.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery according to project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Work collaboratively with construction crews to complete tasks on schedule.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure worksite.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and reporting malfunctions.
Prerequisites for Success:
- Minimum of five years of experience operating heavy equipment in residential construction.
