This letter is about two months overdue. We can only claim the craziness of moving and the holidays for its delay. We would like to share in writing what we said at settlement on November 30, 2009. Having built a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and been victims of an unskilled, unscrupulous builder, we were reluctant to build a home or buy new construction this time around. After examining our needs and options we decided, with trepidation, it really was our only option. Ken’s move into a new job in a new town meant things had to be done quickly. We would never have guessed that Long and Foster and J. A. Myers Homes would be the answer to our prayers. Marilyn Wojcik was right on the money when she told us we would be in good hands with J.A. Myers. It took just one meeting to know that we were doubly in good hands with her helping us look for a house. We walked into the Doral you built in Patriot’s Choice and were blown away! Your attention to detail and willingness to make additions rapidly so we could settle soon were pleasant surprises. Minnie Gaona and Marti Barnes helped with our questions and often answered questions before we could ask them. Donnie Berkheimer and his crew of skilled craftsmen were nothing less than amazing. These men are FAR more than construction workers. Rose Topper made settlement a breeze. Each and every one of you has been a gift. Please know you have our deepest appreciation for helping to make what could have been a very tumultuous time in our lives much easier to go through. We are all settled in and this house is now a home. You are invited to stop in and see what we’ve done with the place any time you are in the neighborhood. As the warm weather comes you’ll see changes outside as well. The landscaping is being planned and it will be lovely. With gratitude and wishes for your continued success!
